DIY Your Own Workbench
Let's get building! Build your own workbench.
Once this Starter class is completed, you will be equipped to create more of your own style of workbenches. Choose a design and take the plunge! Outfit your garage or shop with these functional workbenches that we use in our training centers to help you with all your DIY projects.
The first crucial step is gaining confidence in using all the necessary tools. Mitre saws, drill/drill drivers and the table saw are key to building these. Don't forget the sanders to remove any rough edges! The focus of the class will be to learn to safely use power tools and then master the necessary steps to learn the techniques to build and assemble the workbench. Once you've mastered one type of design, the possibilities are endless!
This is a "Make & Take" class and includes the cost of materials to build a 5'Lx2'Wx 33"H. If you need help getting the bench home, let us know and we can deliver for a small fee. They do fit in a mini-van!
