Home Carpentry Skills 

Never too young to learn how to be handy around the house!  The DIY Training Center is pleased to offer an evening of teaching our basic home repair course for teenagers.

This 2-hour course is a hands-on learning course where your child will fully participate in learning to use hand and power tools and be taught a number of home repair skills, fully supervised by our team of renovation professionals.

Topics of discussion:

• Learning the correct tools for the job
• Power tool instruction – saws/drills
• Drywall repairs
• Mounting and hanging on walls (hooks/pictures)

The class is geared towards teenagers 13 - 17 but younger ages are welcome if parents feel they are ready! 4 registrations are required to run the class.
