Be your own Handywoman! 

Prefer to start your training in a safe and unintimidating environment with other women like yourself that want to start learning new skills? We've setup a class every month for just you! DIY home repair skills can save you hundreds of $$$, but you have to know what you are doing.  While watching online videos can be helpful, it doesn’t compare to hands-on learning experiences to help you develop the skills you need to manage your own home maintenance.  Even if you are a beginner or novice when it comes to home repair, all you need is a little know-how and handyperson training.  

This class includes learning all sort of power tools that you may use in your home.  Such as mitre saws, portable table saws, air-nailers, routers, jig saws, planers or circular saws. All the portable and hand power tools in Colin’s toolbox at the DIY Training Center.  Then it moves into some basic home fixups!

Potential topics of discussion:

• Power tool instruction
• Drywall repairs
  
• Caulking and grout fixing
  
• Mounting and hanging on walls (shelves/pictures)
